General Approach to Parts in Next Plus

In Next Plus, the Parts module serves as the central hub for managing items that are crucial to the goals of the implementation.

Next Plus is utilized for various purposes, including manufacturing and maintenance (or both), and the Parts module plays a vital role in any assembly context. Each product is a part, comprised of multiple subordinate parts. Product hierarchies, assemblies, production batches, and more can all be organized and managed within Next Plus.

• During manufacturing - this module allows for the population of each product with the appropriate parts, generating and logging serial numbers, and Lot batches.
• During maintenance - an extra layer of traceability is incorporated into each product or part assembled using Next Plus.

This page lists all parts that are configured in Next Plus. Each row is an individual part.

There are three, main, elements on the page:

1. Components’ table view
2. Content type - Display selector, with two display options:
   • Released - display only the released version of every part.
   • Last - display the last version of each part. Which means, that the displayed parts may have been updated, and not released.
